At DinoCon, we are committed to providing an environment that is inclusive and welcoming for everyone,
regardless of their individual needs or abilities.

Venue Accessibility
Hill: Please note, the University of Exeter campus is situated on a hill. DinoCon will be occupying two buildings (The Great Hall and Peter Chalk) during the event. There is a short uphill path from The Great Hall area to the Peter Chalk building.
Wheelchair Access: The venue is fully accessible to wheelchair users. All main entrances are equipped with ramps. There are designated wheelchair spaces available for all of the talks and panels.
Elevators: DinoCon will be on the ground floor and first floor of the venue. Elevators are available for easy access to both levels.
Accessible Toilets: Accessible restroom facilities are available throughout the venue, on both the ground floor and the first floor.
Inclusive Toilets: All toilet facilities are gender inclusive and there are unisex toilets available in the university reception.
Parking
Accessible Parking: Accessible parking spaces are located near the venue’s main entrance (Car park C). You must display your Blue Badge when using these spaces.
Assistance & Support
On-Site Assistance: If you require assistance during the event, please reach out to any staff member or volunteer. There will also be a team of paramedics and an ambulance on site in case of emergency.
Personal Care Attendants: If you need a personal care attendant to assist you during the event, they can attend free of charge. Please email us (info@dinocon.co.uk) with your ticket number and name if you require a carer’s ticket. Only one free carer ticket can be issued per ticket holder who needs assistance. Please note; we can only offer free carer’s tickets to adults who require a personal care attendant. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+) with a valid paid ticket.
Assistive Technology
Hearing Loop System: The event will have a hearing loop system installed in key areas. Please bring your own compatible hearing aid or device. If you need assistance setting it up, our staff will be happy to help.
