  • There will be some activities for children (catered for children aged 5+), however the talks will be catered towards adults and young adults.

    We highly recommend looking over the Events Schedule when it is published, or CLICK HERE to check out the 2025 Brochure, to see if this event is suitable for your child.

  • No. There will be something for everyone. Our main talks and panels will be catered towards the general public, but we will also have scientific lectures running at the same time. Attendees are free to sit in on any talk that sparks their interest.

  • Yes, the Hilton Birmingham Metropole has it’s own car park however charges will apply. Please click here for more information on parking at the Hilton. Event code: ZXWXS

    For additional parking, the NEC will be allowing DinoCon attendees to use their car park. This must be booked and paid for in advanced. More details for how to book your parking will be available at a later date.

  • Yes, there will be a designated room available for changing in/out of costumes. Please note that this room is not secure so leaving anything in the room is at your own risk. This room is also not intended as a private room for changing. Please ensure you are still clothed or decently covered whilst changing in and out of costume.

  • The Hilton Birmingham Metropole, the venue for DinoCon 2026, is a offering their bedrooms at a discounted rate for DinoCon attendees. Please CLICK HERE to book your room. There is a limited number of rooms available so book now to avoid disappointment!

  • The venue has a restaurant and bar on-site, and there will be additional food trucks in the venue car park.

    The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is situated across the lake from Resorts World, where there are a number of different restaurants to choose from.

  • Yes, you can choose to attend for just the Saturday or Sunday. Please note though that whilst some activities will be the same for both days (art workshops, the vendor hall, etc), the talks will be different each day and there is an evening event on the Saturday only.

  • For attendees holding Sponsor Packs, Full Weekend, and Saturday Only tickets; there will be an opportunity to check in and collect your lanyard early on the evening of Friday 24th July. Further details will be available closer to the time.

    Please note: this time is meant for checking in only. You will not be able to access any of the rooms that DinoCon will be occupying until doors open on Saturday.

  • Alcohol will be available to purchase during the evening event. For safeguarding purposes, we cannot allow children to be present at DinoCon during the evening event. The Quiz (and any inevitable banter during it) will also not be suitable for children.

    Individuals aged 16 & 17 must be accompanied at all times by someone over the age of 18.

  • Only guide and assistance animals are allowed at this event.
